Web design

Web design from a small studio in Bulgaria

We create business websites and online shops in English and Bulgarian. We handle the structure, design and development, and can prepare the content too.

What our web design covers

A web design project with us ends with a working site at your own domain, in Bulgarian, English or both. Everything from the first call to launch day is included: the page plan, the design, the code, the forms, the legal pages, and the text if you would rather not write it.

We first plan the pages and the links between them. We then develop a consistent design for the whole site, including contact details, forms and submission messages. We check readability and navigation on computers, phones and tablets.

Launch preparation includes:

  • your domain pointed at the new site, with SSL
  • forms that land in an inbox a person actually reads
  • privacy, cookie and terms pages written for your site, in each of its languages
  • redirects from every old address if the site replaces an old one, so saved links and search results still land

If the site sells, the payment side comes with it: cards and PayPal, customer accounts, and a panel where you see the orders. Once a panel starts calculating things, storing data and serving users of its own, the project is also software.

Five steps from first call to launch

  1. A call: what the site has to bring in, how many pages that takes, who is writing the words.
  2. A page plan listing every page and what goes on it, approved by you before a single screen is designed.
  3. The homepage and one inner page, designed first. Once those two are right, the rest follow quickly.
  4. The build, at a private link you can open on your phone from the first days. It keeps changing while we work, and you can discuss changes as the work progresses.
  5. Checks on real devices, then launch: the domain switched over, old addresses redirected, every form tested with a real message.

How we work goes through each stage in more detail.

What decides the price of a website?

The price depends on content, design and features. We clarify the languages, accounts and payments, any content migration and who will write the text. The quote separates the work into tasks so you can decide on priorities.

A second language needs its own content and interface checks. Accounts, subscriptions and payments add development and testing. When moving an existing site, we assess the content and identify which addresses to preserve or redirect.

Photographs can come from you or a stock library. We review the available material at the start, plan the design around it and identify anything else needed.

If you publish regularly or want to change text and photographs yourself, we plan an editing panel. We agree on the sections you will manage and include that work in the quote.

For market price ranges by type of site, and a way to compare two quotes line by line, read how much a website costs in 2026.

When will the site be live?

The timeline depends on the pages, features and content preparation. We agree on the stages, review dates and planned launch at the start.

We clarify who prepares the materials and who approves the work. If the scope changes, we discuss the effect on timing before proceeding.

Who owns the site, and who hosts it?

The site is yours. The domain is registered in your name, and the code and every word of the text are handed over to you, wherever the site ends up being hosted.

Unless you ask otherwise, the site runs on servers we manage, and software updates, backups and certificate renewals are our job. If you would rather keep it with your own hosting company, at launch or three years later, we move the site there and help with the setup, and nothing in the build needs us to stay involved. Who owns the code when a studio builds your site sets out what the contract should say so that all of this is true on paper as well.

Once the site is live, the fixed costs are the yearly domain renewal and the hosting. Maintenance is a separate line and its size follows the site: five pages with no forms need far less looking after than a shop taking orders every day. Website maintenance: what you pay for lists what a plan should cover month by month.

Three sites you can open

Amir Hair Clinic is a complete rebuild for a Sofia dermatology practice that treats hair loss. The people who reach a site like this take their time and read everything before they get in touch, so a treatments page explains each option in turn, a results page carries real before-and-after photographs, and a short questionnaire opens the conversation before anyone books a consultation.

Riomera sits at the other end of the scale: a wellness platform in Bulgarian and English that we built from nothing, with user accounts, paid subscriptions and an opening assessment of about two minutes that asks for no card.

Solemnium is the website for an app still in development, about rituals and incantations from old traditions, in both languages, to be read on the page or listened to.

The other three, which are software more than websites, are on the work page.

Before you sign

How much will my site cost?

Through the contact page, send the page count, the languages, whether anyone logs in or pays, and who writes the text. The quote that comes back is itemised, in euro.

How long does it take to build a website?

The timeline depends on scope, features and content readiness. We set out the stages and planned launch in the quote.

Can I change the text and photos myself?

Yes, if you say so before the build starts, and we add an editing panel for exactly the parts you plan to change.

Can you redesign the site I already have?

Yes, and every old address gets a redirect to its new page. If the old site works and the only trouble is that Google does not show it, start with SEO on the site you have.

Can the whole project run in English?

Yes. We work with clients in Bulgaria and abroad, and every word in both languages is written in-house, not put through a machine translator.
