Mets Recovery Services is a 24/7 vehicle recovery and transport business based in Kent, working across the county and the rest of the UK. We designed and built its English website, mets-recovery.uk.

What we did

We handled the design and the build. The site is written for two readers: a driver standing next to a broken-down car, and someone booking a transport or an auction collection for a set day. The first gets the phone number, WhatsApp and the safety steps on the first screen, without scrolling; the second gets the services, the areas covered and a way to pay a deposit, so the truck is booked before the day.

What does a driver find on the site?

  • Call and WhatsApp buttons that stay on screen, and a "Text us your location" button: the phone works out where it is and puts a map link into a text to the recovery number. The website itself never receives the location.
  • The four safety steps National Highways asks of drivers who break down on a motorway or a busy A road, with a link to the source.
  • A page for each of the eleven services, from jump starts and breakdown recovery to auction collections, scrap cars and diagnostics at the roadside.
  • A coverage map of 222 towns and villages in Kent and just over its borders, searchable by name or postcode and listed district by district.
  • A gallery of the firm's own jobs, customer reviews and a quote form for transport jobs.
  • Booking with a deposit: agree the job by phone, then pay by card on a secure payment page or by bank transfer, with the account details ready to copy.

The site today

mets-recovery.uk is live. We tried it on real phones before launch, because a driver who has broken down opens it on one. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
