Versetio offers activities for children to do with a parent. The family chooses an activity, follows the instructions and marks it as complete.
Design, build and hosting
We handled product design, software development and hosting for Versetio. The main task was to make it easy for a family to choose a suitable activity and follow its steps.
The choice of features determines the development and maintenance work. We discuss these costs in the guide to mobile app pricing.
What does a family get from it?
For the parent and the child using it, Versetio comes down to four things:
- An activity they can start straight away, with the steps already laid out, so nobody has to plan the afternoon.
- Activities that fit the child. The age range chosen at setup changes what the app suggests, so a seven-year-old and a twelve-year-old are offered different things.
- Nobody outside the household can find the child or get in touch with them through the app.
- A setup that takes two answers: a first name or a nickname, and an age range. There is no email address to enter and no date of birth.
Versetio today
Versetio is live at versetio.com, on our hosting, and we handle its updates and backups ourselves, as on everything we build and run.
Hosting with us is optional. Whoever commissions an app from us owns its domain, code and content, and the day they would rather run it on their own hosting, we package it up and help get it running there.
